The focus of the discussion will be on relations between Belarus, Germany and the European Union; prospects for regional cooperation in Europe, particularly the issue of economic cooperation across / within Europe as well as opportunities for civil society participation within the regional development of Belarus.

"It is important for us that the Minsk Forum continues its work at this time, as new challenges in foreign and security policy have arisen in Europe and Belarus, and member states of the EU are collaborating more closely again", - says Rainer Lindner, Chairman of the Minsk Forum and the German-Belarusian Society.

This year’s conference will feature keynote speeches from the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Alena Kuptschyna, and the Head of the EU Delegation to Belarus, Andrea Wiktorin.
