United Students of Belarus Rally 2009

The Eastern Europe Studies Centre invites Belarusian youth (18 – 35 years old) residing abroad as well as studying in Belarus to register to the United Students of Belarus (USB) Rally that will take place in Lithuania on 30 September – 4 October 2009.

The USB Rally is an opportunity to meet Belarusian students studying around the world, to exchange experience and contacts as well as to join the informal network of Belarusian youth residing abroad.

The USB Rally 2009 is already the 3rd gathering of Belarusian youth residing in countries around the world. The descriptions of previous Rallies are available at the following address http://www.eesc.lt/en/Activities/Events.

The geographical boundaries of the informal USB community are broad, extending from the Baltic countries, Belarus and Eastern Europe through the Central and Western Europe to the USA. The reasons of the high interest in USB Rally are its idea to unite active Belarusian youth in exile and its format that combines lectures, workshops and free time activities. This year the programme will include master classes on different topics of activities‘ organization. The programme of the Rally will be available in the short run.

Meanwhile the organizers are open to your ideas and suggestions concerning the Rally programme. To propose a topic of an activity (e. g. lecture, master class, workshop etc.), an activity itself (e. g. conception of an evening programme, side event etc. ) or lecturers, please address us via the email Julija.narkeviciute(at)eesc.lt.
