An information session on the EU programmes in the field of education and youth will be held in Minsk. The focus of the session will be on the participation in the EU's Erasmus Mundus and Tempus educational programmes for Belarus.
The information session on Erasmus Mundus will include:
- presenting Erasmus Mundus selection procedures to the representatives of Belarus' higher education institutions and other interested organisations;
- discussing prospects of cooperation between European and Belarusian universities within the programme as well as possibilities for creating new partnerships;
- providing practical advice to all those wishing to participate in the programme.
Within the information session on Tempus programme, the event's participants will be familiarised with the application procedure of the Fourth Call for proposals in the framework of Tempus IV, national and regional priorities, as well as with the Programme's recent and past activities in the country. They will also receive practical recommendations on project preparation.
The project officer of the Educational, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) Ms Giulia Moro will participate in the information session.
The event is organised by Belarusian State University, Delegation of the European Union to Belarus and TEMPUS National Office in Belarus. The acting Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Mr Ramunas Janusauskas will deliver opening remarks at the session on behalf of the EU Delegation.
Invitations to the session have been distributed among representatives of higher educational institutions, teachers, students and interested organisations.
