International Journalist Award "1989 - 2009: Europe in Dialogue"
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Peaceful Revolution in Europe, MitOst initiates the International Journalist Award “1989-2009: Europe in Dialogue”. Submissions are accepted by print and online journalists aged 18 to 35 of EU countries and, for the first time, its eastern neighbouring states and of the Russian Federation who have reported fairly and openly on the subject.
We seek contributions on the process of Europe growing together beyond outdated dividing lines between the East and the West. The year 1989 must thereby form the initial point for the description of current and upcoming developments in Europe.
Deadline for submissions is 20 August 2009. For more information, please see the attachment.
