On Monday, 11 September, the first event of this year’s Forum took place in Vilnius.
The event comprised two facilitated workshops which did focus on the practical potential of the Forum. The participants discussed and worked out suggestions on vibrant issues in their area of expertise.
Workshops have been dedicated to the following topics:
1. Belarusian identity in the 21st century (facilitated by Anastasiya Khamiankova);
2. Keeping Belarus on the agenda: how can the focus of international attention be drawn to the continuing Belarusian crisis amid the war in Ukraine? (facilitated by Jakob Wöllenstein).
The final session has panelled ideas to be further presented at the assembled discussion with EU parliamentarians in Brussels.
It was streamed live at 17:30 Vilnius and Minsk time / 16:30 Berlin time, and lasted approximatel) for two hours.
